Affirmations are statements that are either “I am” or “I will”. For example: I am an intelligent person, I am loving and understanding, I am a hard worker, I am a loyal friend, I am a faithful lover, and I am a caring and compassionate person. These kind of statements to create a state of bliss within you, making it much easier for you to be open to changing your negative self image.
Your self-improvement goals should revolve around what you want to be or do. If you don’t put the word “improvement” in front of your self-improvement goals, then you are not focused on what you want to do. For instance, if you want to be more competent at something, then your self-improvement goal should be “I am going to become more competent in learning how to take online surveys”. You need to want your self-worth to be at an all time high before you can truly improve it.
