I know these sound better with a bag of candy than they do in the real world so you might want to pass this by.

However, if you truly want to build your self-esteem, these must go.

What you really need to focus on is changing your negative behaviors that lead to bad habits.

For example, do you get anxious very easily?

If so, you probably eat unhealthy food to comfort yourself. This may help you feel good for a few moments but will eventually lead you to gain weight. To fix this, eat healthier and get rid of the cravings.

Are you constantly thinking about your appearance?

Do you obsess over your skin color, your hair style, or your weight?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then your self-image is definitely suffering. To build your self esteem, one of the things that you need to start doing are exercises.  Yes indeed, exercises that will help you lose weight, tone up, and improve your complexion.

Exercising releases powerful chemicals in your body that help not only your body feeling better, but releasing stress  and in turn improve self esteem.

Are you willing to forgive yourself when you make mistakes?

Everyone does make mistakes, even the best of people. To improve your self esteem, you have to forgive yourself and be more accepting of yourself. Forgiving yourself and tolerating your faults will make you a better person and it will also improve your self image and self esteem.

You don’t need to go out and find people who will tell you that you are beautiful. If you have self-doubt and low self esteem, you may need to visit with a therapist or psychologist. These people will be able to help you get rid of the negative self talk that may be harming your self image and self esteem.
